TUCSON, AZ – At least one person was seriously hurt in a pedestrian crash in northeast Tucson yesterday, according to Sgt. Richard Gradillas of the Tucson Police Department.

The crash happened at N Alvernon Way and E Glenn Street, when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
At least one person sustained severe injuries in the crash. Their identity was not immediately released.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area near the scene and to use an alternate traffic route.
