Tucson man hit, dragged to death by impaired driver

TUCSON, AZ – An impaired driver hit and dragged a Tucson man until he died on Tuesday, the Tucson Police Department report.

According to KOLD, the incident occurred outside a convenience store on Grant Road and Tucson Boulevard. The victim was 28-year-old David Lamberto Munoz. According to police, the driver of the car was impaired.

Witnesses report Munoz sitting and squatting on Tucson Blvd prior to being hit and dragged into the store parking lot.

The driver stayed at the scene and charges are pending.
