TUCSON, AZ – Police are investigating a fatal accident that involves a school bus and a truck that happened on the city’s west side Wednesday morning.
According to Tucson.com, the crash happened at the intersection of Valencia Road and Camino de la Tierra around 9 a.m. There were no children on the school bus at the time of the crash.
The bus collided with another vehicle head-on, forcing the bus off the road and on top of another car. First responders called for a medical helicopter to airlift some patients from the scene.
Officials have not released the identity or identities of the victims.
The bus driver cooperated with police.
