Tucson Police respond to serious crash on Ft. Lowell Rd on Fourth of July

TUCSON, AZ – Authorities responded to a serious two-vehicle crash on Ft. Lowell Road in Tucson on the Fourth of July, according to Sgt. Richard Gradillas from the Tucson Police Department.

The crash occurred on E Ft. Lowell Road, between N Treat Avenue and N Country Club Road, before 4:40 p.m., and involved a red SUV and a white pickup truck.

Both of the vehicles sustained heavy damage in the crash.

It is unclear what led to the accident or if anyone was hurt as a result.

Traffic was restricted near the site as authorities worked the scene. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and to use an alternate traffic route.
