Tucson teen dies of injuries sustained in accident on Swan Rd, Juarez St

TUCSON, AZ – A 19-year-old has died of their injuries following a car accident that happened on South Swan Rd and East Juarez St on Sept. 27.

According to KOLD, police determined that the teen was speeding north on South Swan when he lost control. He swerved into oncoming traffic and struck a pickup truck.

The teen, driving a BMW, and the driver and passenger of the Ford pickup truck were taken to the hospital in serious condition. The teenager died on Oct. 4 at the hospital.

The condition of the two people in the pickup truck is not currently known.

Police say they do not plan to file any charges.
