Woman dead, 2 injured in multi-vehicle crash in Sahuarita

SAHUARITA, AZ – A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Sahuarita yesterday morning, according to KGUN 9.

The crash occurred on Pima Mine Road at about 8:10 a.m., when a vehicle crossed over the center line and into the lanes of oncoming traffic. There, it collided with another vehicle. A third vehicle was also struck during the crash.

The wrong-way driver, 50-year-old Alisa Gullatta, of Sahuarita, was pronounced dead after the crash.

The two other drivers were hospitalized with minor wounds.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
