WILLIAMS, AZ (COCONINO COUNTY) – Two people were killed when a small aircraft crashed in northern Arizona this weekend, according to ABC 15 News.
The accident happened near the Williams Airport on Sunday, when a plane leaving Sedona crashed into a wooded area.
Two people, 37-year-old Timothy Michael Gill and 38-year-old Joylani Roseann Kamalu, both of Vista, California, were inside the plane headed for the Grand Canyon Airport.
The victims, who had been reported missing by family members, died as a result of the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
