2 people killed in multi-vehicle crash on Hwy 70 in San Carlos Apache Nation

SAN CARLOS APACHE NATION, AZ – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision in the San Carlos Apache Nation area earlier this week.

According to CBS 5 News, the collision occurred east of Globe on US-70, near Yellowjacket Road and milepost 281, at about 1 p.m. Monday, when two vehicles and a tractor-trailer collided.

Two people died as a result of the crash.

Authorities closed both directions of the highway as they investigated the collision.
