Four people injured following wrong-way crash on US-60 near Gold Canyon


GOLD CANYON, AZ – Multiple people were taken to the hospital following a wrong-way collision and a subsequent crash on Highway 60 near Gold Canyon on Tuesday night, according to CBS 5 News.

The crash happened on eastbound US-60, near El Camino Viejo, when a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle.

The two drivers were taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-critical wounds.

A pickup truck crashed and overturned while attempting to avoid crashing into the wrong-way accident. The passenger of the pickup was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries, and the driver was treated at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
