Two people killed in head-on collision in Prescott Valley

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ – A head-on collision in the Prescott Valley area led to the deaths of two people on Wednesday morning, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.

The crash took place on North Valley View Drive and East State Route 69 at around 9 a.m.

The 61-year-old driver of a white sedan, a Prescott Valley woman who may have experienced a medical episode before the accident, is said to have crossed over the center line and into the lane of oncoming traffic. She then crashed head-on into a minivan being driven by a 62-year-old man from Prescott.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
