Woman dead, 2 injured in speed-related crash near 91st Ave in Tolleson

TOLLESON, AZ – A collision in Tolleson this weekend led to the death of a woman from out of state and the injury of two other people, according to CBS 5 News.

The crash happened near the intersection of Garfield Street and 91st Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday, as the driver of a Nissan Titan was allegedly speeding.

The Titan then went over the center line and crashed into the passenger side of a Ford.

29-year-old Amanda Sue Wunderlee, a passenger in the Ford, was killed in the crash.

Both drivers were hospitalized with severe injuries.

Authorities do not believe impaired driving played a role in the collision, though their investigation continues at this time.
