Five teens injured, one dead from crash on I-40 in Apache County

APACHE COUNTY, AZ – A three-car crash on I-40 left several injured and one dead in Apache County Sunday. 

A semi-truck crashed into a school bus, ABC 15 reported. 

The bus attempted to slow down after a previous crash happened, and the bus hit a commercial car, and a semi-truck hit the rear of the bus. 

As a result of the accident, a 17-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries and died, and five other students were hurt. 

The crash is under investigation.
