CHANDLER, AZ – A 31-year-old Navy veteran was killed following a wrong-way accident on I-10 earlier this week that is suspected of having been related to impaired driving, according to KPHO.

The accident occurred on westbound I-10, near Chandler Boulevard, at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, when the 25-year-old driver of a silver sedan collided with another driver, who has been identified as 31-year-old Bobby Kramer.

Kramer, a Navy veteran, died at the scene.

The wrong-way driver, a woman who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital with severe injuries. She is suspected of having been under the influence when the crash occurred.

A third driver was involved, though they were not reported as injured.
