GLENDALE, AZ – A woman was hospitalized after being run over by a truck while sitting at a bus stop in Glendale on Friday night, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Northern Avenue and 59th Avenue at 7:12 p.m., when a driver made a left turn, then lost control of their vehicle. They then ran over the victim, who was sitting at a bus stop.
First responders applied a tourniquet to the victim’s lower body due to severe injuries she had sustained. She was then taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities do not believe that the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.
