Mesa man faces DUI charges after crashing into school bus

MESA, AZ – A man is facing multiple charges including DUI after crashing into a car and a school bus on Monday.

According to AZFamily, the suspect is 31-year-old Jerry Martin Tolle. When police conducted a field sobriety test, they discovered Tolle had a blood-alcohol content of 0.348, which is three times the legal limit.

Police say Tolle, driving a Chevy Malibu, crashed into a car and a school bus on Broadway Rd and Alma School Rd before fleeing.

Police intercepted Tolle and took him into custody. He faces charges including driving with a suspended license, aggravated DUI, and leaving an accident with damage. No injuries were reported.
