MESA, AZ – Two teenagers died in a car crash on Balboa Drive and 8th Avenue on Sunday, Nov. 7, police say.
According to FOX10, the accident happened around 6:45 a.m. when the driver of a car lost control and hit a pole near the canal. The two teenagers inside died in the crash, as the car caught fire on impact.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police believe the driver of the car had been speeding prior to the crash.
