16-year-old and 25-year-old seriously injured in N Phoenix head-on crash

PHOENIX, AZ – A 16-year-old and a 25-year-old were seriously injured following a head-on collision in North Phoenix this weekend, according to NBC 12 News.

The accident happened at the intersection of Deer Valley Road and 7th Street at about 3:30 p.m., when two vehicles collided.

Two drivers, one of them 25 years old and the other 16, had to be extricated from their vehicles.

The 16-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The 25-year-old driver sustained extremely life-threatening wounds in the crash.

Their identities were not immediately released.

The accident remains under investigation.
