Narrative

PHOENIX, AZ – According to FOX10 News, a motorcyclist was killed in an accident that took place in north Phoenix on Thursday afternoon.

The cash was reported shortly after 1:00 p.m. just west of I-17 and Deer Valley Road. Authorities say a motorcycle and a car were involved in the accident, and that the crash occurred when the driver of the car was attempting to turn onto 26th Avenue northbound from the eastbound lanes on Deer Valley Road. At the same time, the motorcyclist was heading west on Deer Valley when they were struck by the driver of the car.

First responders initially found the motorcyclist with serious injuries, but he later died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
