Narrative

PHOENIX, AZ – ABC15 News reports that a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a driver in Phoenix on Thursday morning.

The crash was reported shortly before 6:00 a.m. near I-17 and Northern Avenue. Authorities say a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle was found at the scene. The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital, where they later died.

The driver involved remained at the scene following the accident.
