PHOENIX, AZ – At least one person was seriously hurt following an accident in southeast Phoenix on Wednesday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The accident occurred on Baseline Road, near the Raven Golf Club at South Mountain, between 32nd Street and 40th Street, at about 8 a.m.
At least one person sustained severe injuries in the crash. Authorities did not immediately identify the cause of the accident or the identity of the victim.
Traffic on Baseline Rd was restricted in the area, and drivers were asked to use alternate routes if possible.
