Crash in Phoenix injures 4 children

PHOENIX, AZ – CBS 5 reports that four children were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in Phoenix on Sunday.

The crash took place just after 12:00 a.m., near 31st Avenue and Dunlap Avenue. Four children, a 4-year old, a 6-year-old, and two 14-year olds, sustained significant injuries, due to not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The children were transported to a hospital for treatment. Three adults involved in the crash were treated at the scene of the incident and were not taken to a hospital.

An investigation into what initiated the crash is still underway.
