PHOENIX, AZ – Authorities responded to a car accident on Thomas Road causing traffic delays and closures this evening in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened on Thomas Road between 79th Avenue and 83rd Avenue at around 8 p.m.

Westbound lanes were closed near the scene as authorities investigated the accident.
