Hit-and-run crash leads to city bus rollover collision in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – A hit-and-run crash led to a rollover collision that happened Wednesday night at 32 Street and McDowell Road. 

FOX 10 Phoenix said the initial hit-and-run crash happened at 40th Street and McDowell Road. The hit and driver fled the scene, ran a red light, and collided with several other vehicles, including a city bus. 

Due to the crash’s impact, the city bus flipped over, and a victim from one vehicle had to be extracted. 

The hit-and-run driver and a woman from the first crash were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Phoenix Police did not state what the hit-and-run driver will be charged with.
