Man dead, two injured in multi-vehicle crash at 31st and Northern Aves

PHOENIX, AZ – A man was killed and two others were injured during a multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix this weekend, according to information from FOX 10 Phoenix.

The collision happened near N 31st Avenue and W Northern Avenue at around 10:20 a.m. Sunday, when a sedan went over the center median and into the lanes of oncoming traffic. There it collided with a minivan head-on. Another sedan then crashed into the back of the minivan.

The driver of the minivan, 65-year-old Hajric Mirsad, was pronounced dead after the collision.

Two other men were hospitalized for the treatment of severe injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
