PHOENIX, AZ – Authorities responded to a multi-vehicle crash on I-17 in North Phoenix this afternoon that was causing extensive traffic delays, according to information from the Department of Public Safety.

The crash occurred on I-17 and Happy Valley Road, near milepost 217, before 3:50 p.m., and involved multiple vehicles, with at least one of those overturning and sustaining significant damage.
Traffic was restricted in both directions for several hours as troopers investigated the collision.
It is unclear at this point if anyone was injured in the crash.
