Pregnant woman, 2 teens, 3 others injured in Laveen Village crash

PHOENIX, AZ – A pregnant woman, two teenage girls, and three other people were injured in a rollover collision in the Laveen Village area on Tuesday afternoon, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.

The crash happened near the intersection of Baseline Road and 43rd Avenue, before 2:55 p.m., when two sedans crashed. At least one of the vehicles overturned, causing one person to be trapped within the wreckage.

A 25-year-old woman who is 12 weeks pregnant was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

A 17-year-old girl, a 24-year-old woman, and a 40-year-old woman also suffered severe, critical wounds.

A 50-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl were taken in for treatment of non-critical injuries.

The cause of the accident was not immediately released.
