PHOENIX, AZ – Three people were seriously injured after a collision involving a suspected drunk driver in north Phoenix on Tuesday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
UPDATE: A serious collision occurred last night near 7th St. & Peoria Ave. The driver of the silver car showed signs of impairment & had a felony warrant. The accident occurred near North Mountain Park, at the intersection of N 7th Street and E Peoria Avenue, and involved a silver sedan and a dark-colored pickup truck.
Two occupants of the pickup were taken in for the treatment of severe wounds.
The driver of the sedan was reportedly showing signs of being under the influence and had a felony warrant out for his arrest.
He was taken to the hospital for undisclosed injuries and is facing jail time after he has been released.
The identities of the drivers and the passenger were not immediately released.
