Man fatally struck by pickup truck in late-night crash in NE Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – A 63-year-old man was killed after being struck by a pickup truck in Tucson late Friday night, according to KOLD News 13.

The accident happened in northwest Tucson, in the 1700 block of W Prince Road, at about 10:30 p.m. when 63-year-old Frederic William Noad was crossing the street.

He was then struck by the driver of a 1999 Mazda pickup truck.

Noad was discovered lying in the roadway by emergency crews. He died at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and is not suspected of having been under the influence.

Noad was reportedly crossing outside of a crosswalk when the crash occurred, though the accident remains under investigation at this time.
