Pedestrian severely injured in S Tucson hit-and-run crash

TUCSON, AZ – A pedestrian was left with severe injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in south Tucson last night, according to KGUN9.

The accident happened in the evening, near the intersection of 25th Street and 4th Avenue, when a female pedestrian was struck by a driver who failed to remain at the scene.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital with severe wounds.

Authorities have not yet located the driver or their vehicle.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
