Narrative

PHOENIX, AZ – One driver was turning onto a driveaway and was struck by another vehicle, which resulted in the death of one passenger, a 27-year-old woman, Sunday. 

This collision happened around 10:45 a.m. at the 7th Avenue and Baseline Road junction. First responders took the 27-year-old woman — Samantha Michelle Sterling — to a hospital where she later died. 

Two other passengers sustained injuries. However, officials did not reveal if they were taken to a hospital.
