Bicyclist injured after being intentionally hit by driver in Prescott Valley

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ – According to investigators, a bicyclist suffered multiple injuries after being intentionally struck by a driver in Prescott Valley on Monday afternoon.

FOX 10 Phoenix reports that the crash occurred at Urban Forest Lakes Park, near Lakeshore Drive and Navajo Drive, at 12:26 p.m., after the driver of a pickup truck intentionally ran over a 63-year-old man on a bicycle. The suspect, identified as Glen Cosse, allegedly was yelling at the bicyclist and drove into him at a high rate of speed.

The bicyclist sustained multiple extensive injuries, including possible head injuries.

Cosse was taken into police custody the next day, thanks to information provided by an anonymous tipster. Authorities stated that Cosse then admitted to striking the bicyclist.

He is facing a charge of aggravated assault in connection with the crash.
